It is the one that allows you to detect possible manufacturing errors that could result in incompatibility, the need for costly returns and, in extreme cases, even damage to the new product. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"467\" data-end=\"696\">With standard-sized components, verification is relatively simple. However, the problem arises when dealing with <strong data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"637\">large-size structures<\/strong> that require a specialized measurement approach. <\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"745\">Measurements in practice &#8211; our latest project<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"924\">In carrying out the task described above, we measured an element in the form of a large cylinder less than 10 meters long and about 1.5 meters in diameter, ending in pivots on both sides.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"946\">Main measurement objectives:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"1193\">\n<li data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"1044\">\n<p data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"1044\"><strong data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"986\">Check the concentricity of the pivots<\/strong> &#8211; crucial for the correct operation of the entire assembly after assembly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1045\" data-end=\"1193\">\n<p data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1193\"><strong data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1068\">Shape inspection<\/strong> &#8211; both of the pipe and the mandrels to ensure that there are no deformations that could affect the functioning of the structure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1371\">We used <a href=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/en\/laser-tracker\/\"><br \/>\n  <strong data-start=\"1233\" data-end=\"1250\">Laser Tracker<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/a> &#8211; a portable measuring device that allows for very high accuracy even with such large dimensions.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1373\" data-end=\"1405\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-28290\" src=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/kontrola-duzych-elemntow-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/kontrola-duzych-elemntow-2.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/kontrola-duzych-elemntow-2-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/>Results and effect for the customer<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1406\" data-end=\"1567\">We presented the results in the form of <strong data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1466\">a clear report<\/strong> enriched with a CAD model, which made it easier to interpret the results and locate any deviations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1569\" data-end=\"1598\">The inspection made it possible:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1599\" data-end=\"1805\">\n<li data-start=\"1599\" data-end=\"1677\">\n<p data-start=\"1601\" data-end=\"1677\">Confirmation that the item was made in accordance with the technical documentation,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1678\" data-end=\"1736\">\n<p data-start=\"1680\" data-end=\"1736\">Ensuring trouble-free installation at the target site,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1737\" data-end=\"1805\">\n<p data-start=\"1739\" data-end=\"1805\">Elimination of the risk of failure resulting from inaccurate workmanship.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-start=\"1807\" data-end=\"1837\">Why is it so important?<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"2169\">In the case of large components <strong data-start=\"1867\" data-end=\"1898\">, every millimeter matters<\/strong> &#8211; small deviations can generate huge costs in later use.
