This is quite a challenge for designers, who have to map the actual object in the form of a digital CAD model. <\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"467\" data-end=\"499\">Where does the problem arise?<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"803\">Classic measuring instruments are great for simple shapes, but for more complex geometries they can be insufficient. As a result, the designer doesn&#8217;t always get data with sufficient accuracy &#8211; and this in turn prolongs the design process and increases the risk of errors. <\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"805\" data-end=\"839\">What solution do we use?<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"962\">In such situations, <strong data-start=\"880\" data-end=\"905\">precise 3D measurements<\/strong> come to the rescue. In the described project, we combined two technologies: <\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"963\" data-end=\"1138\">\n<li data-start=\"963\" data-end=\"1037\">\n<p data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"1037\"><strong data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"982\">3D scanning<\/strong> to quickly acquire a full point cloud,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1038\" data-end=\"1138\">\n<p data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1138\"><strong data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1079\">Contact arm measurement<\/strong>, giving the highest accuracy in sensitive areas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1167\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-28503\" src=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/wymiary-rzeczywiste-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/wymiary-rzeczywiste-2.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/wymiary-rzeczywiste-2-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1167\">This made it possible:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1420\">\n<li data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1235\">\n<p data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1235\">Pointing out deficiencies in the existing CAD model,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1328\">\n<p data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1328\">Determining the position of elements that are difficult or impossible to measure by traditional methods,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1329\" data-end=\"1420\">\n<p data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1420\">Providing reliable geometric data that streamlined the design process.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-start=\"1422\" data-end=\"1453\">Benefits for engineers<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1632\">The cooperation of the designers with our team made it possible to significantly <strong data-start=\"1514\" data-end=\"1544\">reduce the design time<\/strong> and increase its <strong>precision<\/strong>. With access to the data provided, the client was able to: <\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1813\">\n<li data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1682\">\n<p data-start=\"1635\" data-end=\"1682\">easier to verify the correctness of the project,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1683\" data-end=\"1737\">\n<p data-start=\"1685\" data-end=\"1737\">Reduce the risk of errors at the production stage,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1738\" data-end=\"1813\">\n<p data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"1813\">Conveniently use 3d data throughout the product lifecycle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1815\" data-end=\"2058\">Our goal is to provide measurement data in such a way that it is <strong data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1938\">maximally useful and practical for the customer<\/strong>.
