The forces acting on the components of such machines are significant, and even small misalignments or wear can lead to serious problems over time, resulting in costly breakdowns and downtime. <strong data-start=\"382\" data-end=\"423\">Regular inspection of equipment geometry<\/strong> is an effective way to prevent them. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"613\">One of our recent projects was <strong data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"552\">a geometric analysis of a jaw crusher<\/strong> used for primary crushing of ore in a mine.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-29633\" src=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/kruszarka-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/kruszarka-3.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/kruszarka-3-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"615\" data-end=\"648\">The challenge: accuracy vs. limited time?<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"912\">The time allotted for the overhaul shutdown was very short, so it was imperative that the measurements be taken <strong data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"804\">quickly yet extremely accurately<\/strong>. To achieve this goal, we used three different measurement technologies that complemented each other: <\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"914\" data-end=\"1236\">\n<li data-start=\"914\" data-end=\"1025\">\n<p data-start=\"916\" data-end=\"1025\"><strong data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"936\">Laser Tracker<\/strong> &#8211; made it possible to accurately measure components at a distance from each other.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1026\" data-end=\"1137\">\n<p data-start=\"1028\" data-end=\"1137\"><strong data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1050\">Measuring arm<\/strong> &#8211; allowed to collect data from hard-to-reach places, inaccessible to the laser beam.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1236\">\n<p data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1236\"><strong data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1165\">The 3D laser scanner &#8211; LIDAR<\/strong> &#8211; recorded the full geometry of the jaw surfaces in a short time.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1264\">Data, analysis, results.<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1422\">Once the data was collected, all the results were <strong data-start=\"1317\" data-end=\"1351\">analyzed in detail in the office<\/strong> and then presented to the client in the form of a clear report.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1424\" data-end=\"1440\">The report included:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1586\">\n<li data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1476\">\n<p data-start=\"1443\" data-end=\"1476\">results of geometric measurements,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1529\">\n<p data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1529\">Visualizations of identified irregularities,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1586\">\n<p data-start=\"1532\" data-end=\"1586\">Recommendations for further corrective actions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-start=\"1588\" data-end=\"1641\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-29632 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/kruszarka-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/kruszarka-2.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/kruszarka-2-768x512.jpg 768w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1000px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1000\/667;\" \/>The result: preventing failure instead of fixing it<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1642\" data-end=\"1814\">The information provided allowed the customer to quickly assess the machine&#8217;s condition and <strong data-start=\"1724\" data-end=\"1761\">make a decision to make repairs<\/strong> even before downtime or damage occurred.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1821\" data-end=\"2094\"><strong data-start=\"1824\" data-end=\"1890\">Regular geometry measurements are an investment in trouble-free machine operation.<\/strong><br data-start=\"1890\" data-end=\"1893\">With a combination of <a href=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/en\/laser-tracker\/\">Laser Tracker<\/a> technology, <a href=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/en\/measuring-arm\/\">a measuring arm<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/en\/3d-lidar-scanners\/\">a 3D scanner<\/a>, we can precisely diagnose the condition of even the most demanding machines &#8211; quickly, accurately and without unnecessary downtime.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1821\" data-end=\"2094\">Feel free to <a href=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/en\/contact\/\">contact<\/a> us &#8211; we will be happy to advise you and prepare an individual offer tailored to your needs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In heavy industrial machinery, every component matters.
