Although they are most often associated with automobiles, their application is much broader. They are found in industrial machinery, turbines, compressors or power plants, among others.   <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"646\">It was at one of the power plants that we had the opportunity to implement our next project, involving the <strong data-start=\"593\" data-end=\"627\">precise steaming of<\/strong> steam turbine <strong data-start=\"593\" data-end=\"627\">couplings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"648\" data-end=\"679\">What did the task consist of?<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"680\" data-end=\"825\">The purpose of the measurements was to <strong data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"773\">check the correctness of the position of the holes in the two half-couplings<\/strong> relative to the holes located in the turbine shaft.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"851\">The scope of work included:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"1073\">\n<li data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"969\">\n<p data-start=\"854\" data-end=\"969\">Control of <strong data-start=\"863\" data-end=\"901\">axial and radial spacing of<\/strong> holes against nominal values from technical documentation,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"1026\">\n<p data-start=\"972\" data-end=\"1026\"><strong data-start=\"972\" data-end=\"1023\">Positioning of half-couplings during rollout<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1073\">\n<p data-start=\"1029\" data-end=\"1073\">Inspection <strong data-start=\"1038\" data-end=\"1070\">after installing new bushings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1075\" data-end=\"1226\">We used <strong data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"1148\">precision 3D measurement systems<\/strong> for the job, which enabled us to maintain dimensional accuracy at every stage of the work.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1267\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-29696\" src=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/parowanie-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/parowanie-1.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/treon.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/parowanie-1-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/>The result: minimizing risk<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1268\" data-end=\"1608\">The measures carried out <strong data-start=\"1303\" data-end=\"1347\">minimized the risk of assembly errors<\/strong>, which could have very costly consequences in the case of such large components.<br data-start=\"1431\" data-end=\"1434\">Misalignment of holes in the pairing of half-couplings would mean the need to <strong data-start=\"1519\" data-end=\"1558\">redo the entire coupling<\/strong> &#8211; generating huge losses in time and money.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1610\" data-end=\"1774\">Thanks to our inspection, the customer was assured that all elements were made <strong data-start=\"1695\" data-end=\"1733\">according to technical specifications<\/strong> and that the installation would go smoothly.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1776\" data-end=\"1806\">Why is it so important?<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"1807\" data-end=\"2069\">In components such as clutches, where dimensional tolerances are very tight, <strong data-start=\"1884\" data-end=\"1922\">every hundredth of a millimeter matters<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1923\" data-end=\"1926\">Precise measurement and control of geometry in the pairing process is a guarantee of safety, reliability and durability of the entire drive train.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1807\" data-end=\"2069\"><strong data-start=\"2079\" data-end=\"2155\">Precise measurements save time, money and nerves.<\/strong><br data-start=\"2155\" data-end=\"2158\">At TREON, we help customers in the energy and industrial sectors avoid installation errors by ensuring the highest measurement accuracy at every stage of the project.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1821\" data-end=\"2094\">Feel free to <a href=\"https:\/\/treon.pl\/en\/contact\/\">contact<\/a> us &#8211; we will be happy to advise you and prepare an individual offer tailored to your needs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clutches are key components of many mechanical systems &#8211; they are responsible for connecting and disconnecting shafts to transmit torque.
